The Treasure Hunt of Troubled Women

Only three days remained for our summer vacation on board.

The eventful days passed very quickly.

Around the time people were feeling reluctant to part with their time on this ship, a message was sent from the school to all students simultaneously in the early morning. Having opened it first, Hondou read it out loud.

“Today from 10am, a treasure hunt will commence? What’s this?”

Everyone read the mail that had the word 『game』 none of them were used to.

“Treasure Hunt Game”

・A bonus game with optional participation

・Conditions to Enter: For both men and women, an entrance fee of 10,000 private points is necessary under their own name.

・Date: Today, August 8

・A detailed explanation will be given at the appointed place (must arrive no later than 10pm on the 5th floor)

・It’s possible to choose not to participate after hearing the explanation

“I thought it was a special test for a second there but it doesn’t look like it. Optional participation sounds interesting doesn’t it?”

Participation was up to the individual, and the only risk they bore was the entry fee of 10,000 points.

The details are currently unclear, but for this so-called treasure hunt I wonder if there’ll be a big reward, seeing the participation fee. I expect simple contents, like if you discover the treasure you get private points.

Since I’m usually haunted by my lack of money, if there’s a chance to gain extra points then I should go and try to participate. Being able to participate for 10,000 points also seems fair.

Of course it looked like Miyamoto and Hondou were going to participate. They said they’d go together after they finished eating. Then they invited Akito and I to join them…

“Don’t mind me, and have fun…”

Akito sluggishly exhaled from on top of his bed and kept sleeping passionately.

It might be because he pushed himself too hard at the pool yesterday.

“I would have lended you a gaming console if bringing your own things wasn’t banned-“

“I definitely won’t feel like playing games in a state like this…”

Tired of something, Akito sunk his face into his pillow.

We let him sleep and finished our food. After he continued relaxing in the room until 9:50, though somewhat painful, we let him be and headed towards the meeting place.
