Well, it was all thanks to Far West. It was behind it all. It used the divinities of Gods to help humans awaken, giving them amazing powers.

Where did these divinities come from?

The war that was fought ten thousand years ago shattered the True Great World into a thousand pieces and caused the downfall of many Gods.

The True Great World had a soul and consciousness of its own. It could be said that it was the Father or the source of the Seven Major Realms and all the small and Fragmented worlds. The Seven Major Realms were basically the biggest parts of its shattered self. It planted seven soul seeds in these tracts of land. Each of these seeds grew up to gain a consciousness of its own. Far West was one such seed.

After gaining consciousness, It realized that the ancient war was fought exactly 12 thousand years ago.

It shattered the True Great World but failed to kill its soul. In its anger, it wiped out their consciousness and sealed the souls and divinities of the Gods that died in the ancient war in the depths of this major tract of land, reducing the chance of them possessing or creating another body to zero. But that resulted in it dying out completely.

Far West put their souls to good use, creating Soul Shards. That was the origin of Soul Shards. It was the combination and condensation of the wisps of a God’s soul. Similarly, awakening stones were the divinities of a God, and in the awakening platform, the divinity of Night was hidden!

The key to obtaining it was already with Roy. It’s just he was finding it out now. Before this, he was still unaware that the Night’s Mist Ability was a part of Night’s Soul!
