After minutes of questioning the bandits, they learned more about the situation of the bandits.

A few kilometers away from Broken Sword Town was the camp of the bandits who were being held imprisoned by the people of the demonic sect. According to the bandit, there were up to a hundred and fifty bandits left at the base and around fifty martial artists from the demonic sect.

The strength of the demonic sect in the camp wasn’t too exaggerated, there was one level 5, five level 4, ten level 3, and the rest were level 2 and level 1.

He then turned around and looked at Rongyu who had one of her hands stretched out, his eyes was filled with resentment as he fell down and died.

Leon stared at his Senior sister who walked over to the body of the bandit and pulled her sword out, he shivered slightly; he now saw his Senior sister in a new light, she was ruthless.

The soldiers also felt the sane as they trembled from the scene that played out in front of them, this martial artist just gave the bandit new hope before killing him from behind; scary!

After retrieving her sword, Rongyu returned to the group.

She looked at the soldiers and asked Linxu to pass Yue’s body to them.

“Go find the Town Chief, tell him to arrange for a caravan to send her body back to our sect.” She said.

The soldiers bowed and carefully carried Yue’s body back to the town.

Linxu, Rongyu, Muging, Feifei, and Wanxu stared at Yue’s corpse in sadness as they were carried away by the soldiers.

They didn’t expect that they would loose someone on this mission, deaths was a normal occurrence in life but people couldn’t help but feel sad whenever it happened.

“What now?” Wanxu asked after the soldiers had retreated behind the gates and entered the town.

Everyone fell silent as they thought of what to do next. Their mission was to help the town resist the beasts and stop the bandits from attacking, as of now, they had only dealt with the issue of the beasts.

The scale of the bandits had passed what they expected, there was actually a level 5 expert with them!

They would not be able to deal with them on their own, it would be suicide to continue this mission.

But that didn’t mean that they were going to let things be and go back to the sect. They had lost a person and had to avenge her death with the lives of all the demonic sect martial artists!

“That level 5 expert must be an elder from the demonic sect, it will be unwise to go fight them. Wanxu, you’ll accompany the caravan back to the sect and report the matter to the sect mistress so that she can send help.” Rongyu said seriously.

Everyone immediately turned in the direction of the angry voice, it was the little fox on Leon’s shoulder.

Rongyu nodded and turned to the unconscious cloaked figure, he pulled off his hood and revealed his bloodied face before raising her hand.

“What? Where am I?” The cloaked figure said in panic as he jumped to his feet and looked around.

It took him only a few seconds to realize that he was surrounded by enemies, he was about to rage when a calm but cold voice entered his ears.

The eyes of the man shrank and his body trembled from an irresistible pressure, he fell on his knees with a plop.

His eyes quickly scanned the place and fell on the fox on the shoulder of a dashing young man, its tree tails were exceptionally eye-catching.

‘A three tailed fox!’ he exclaimed inwardly, all thoughts of retaliation immediately vanished from his mind.

Fengxue stated down at him and said tonelessly.

“You’ll take us to your camp, else I’ll rip your head off,”

“Yes, yes!” The man lowered his gaze and said fearfully.

Leon watched this with a smiling face, he could not help but rub Fengxue’s head; he was impressed by her effectiveness.

Without wasting time, they made the man lead the way to their camp.

They traveled through the forest for many minutes before finally reaching the place where the camp was located.

It was now daytime and everywhere was bright with the sun rising in the distance, they were able to see the camp clearly from meters away.

They saw five huge men sitting at the base of two trees, they were probably watchmen.

A few meters behind the two trees was a large clearing with many people in it. A large tent was set in the middle and many died out bonfires and wagons could be seen in the area.

“This is the camp,” the man who had led them here said.

Rongyu was right next to him, they were both standing on a large tree branch with the others not far from them.

“Alright, you’ve served your purpose,” Rongyu nodded before saying.

The eyes of the man widened and he turned to look at Rongyu but before he could do anything, she suddenly covered his mouth with one hand and pressed him against her tree before driving her sword into his chest.

The eyes of the man glared at her hatefully before losing color.

Leon looked from another tree branch and could help but remind himself never to anger this Senior sister.
