“Why did you leave him alive?” Leon asked in confusion.

“I didn’t. He had a protective trinket as well, but it was weak and immediately shattered after taking my attack. I thought you might want to interrogate him as well so I didn’t kill him immediately.” Fengxue said as she walked toward Leon and landed on his shoulder.

Leon and his Senior sisters had a strange expression as they looked at the almost-dead man, what could he possibly tell them in this situation?

“Thanks for your thoughts but we have nothing to ask,” Fengxue cupped her hands toward Fengxue.

The latter waved her paw and said that she didn’t mind and they could do whatever they wanted with the body.

Rongyu was grateful and walked toward the body, she stabbed her sword right into his heart and took away his final breath.

After killing him, Rongyu closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened her eyes again, there was a peaceful glint in them as if she had finally completed a task.

“You can rest now, Yue.” She mumbled as she looked into the sky.

He didn’t comment on that and acted like he didn’t hear anything.

“Let’s check if anyone is hiding or if there’s anything of value in the camp,” Feifei suggested and they immediately moved.

After a few minutes of searching, they found some people in the tent.

They were women and all of them looked incredibly miserable. They were all naked, so the bruises and marks on their bodies could be seen, their hair was disheveled, and all of them were tightly tied up with straps in different weird and uncomfortable positions; some had already passed out.
