To be exact, the table was made out of special metal. It wasn’t a legendary-ranked metal like orichalcum or mithril, but it was still metal. It was probably an epic rank or higher metal, and it could have become a decent weapon rather than just a mere table.

I was surprised that they used something like that to make a table, but I was stupefied and terrified when I realized that Cha Hee-Ra had basically destroyed a table like that with her bare hands.

‘Oh, right. She’s that type of girl.’

There were a lot of people who could simply cut through metal or change its form using magic, but I was sure that there weren’t even five people in the entire continent who could do the same with their strength alone. Not only that, I couldn’t even feel any mana, so it proved that she really did that with her fingers alone.

My train of thought lasted for only a moment because Cha Hee-Ra started talking again.

“What are you doing? Hurry up. It’s time to go home, right?” Cha Hee-Ra said.

The way she was talking made me wary of her.

“…”

“What’s wrong, darling?” she asked.

“Yeah, I’m coming,” I replied.

Her expression didn’t change, but the subtle frown told me how angry she was, and the reason she wasn’t releasing her anger was that she knew how embarrassing it would be to explode in a public place like this. Basically, the value of Cha Hee-Ra’s name and her position was too high for her to act like a child, similar to what Jung Ha-Yan had done.

Now that I thought about it, I had never seen her angry. I saw her warn Jung Ha-Yan and a few other people who dared to challenge her, but I couldn’t really say that she was angry because the situation ended while she was smiling.

In addition, she would never really mention what happened in the past, so she was basically a great and generous person.

‘This means that she’s going to hold a grudge…’

We were finally done with our dinner, and while I was saying goodbye to Oscar, Marilyn, Senator Caitlyn, and my other connections, I still couldn’t stop worrying about Cha Hee-Ra.

When Jo Hye-Jin nodded, signaling me to get on the griffon, I had no choice but to speak.

“I’ll ride with Miss Cha Hee-Ra.”

“Okay, Sub Guild Master.’

It would have been better if she showed some kind of disappointment, but Jo Hye-Jin nodded with a bright smile. It was actually Jung Ha-Yan who looked sad. She looked at me as if she was asking me to reconsider, but this time, I had no other choice.

One would have to reap what one sowed. The balance of power had to be maintained because the moment the balance collapsed, I would probably collapse as well.

To be exact, it was a balance between the far left and the far right.

“Master, I’ll visit Lindel for the museum issue,” Yuno said.

“Sounds good,” I said.

“Okay.”

Kasugano Yuno and I talked quietly so no one else could hear us. Once we were done with our conversation, I sent her off to Celia. Afterward, I immediately started walking toward the red-headed woman. She looked at me coldly as if she wanted to punch me.

Obviously, I couldn’t allow that to happen because I was sure that I would explode like a piece of tofu if her fist were to collide with me.

“Why not ride with your second girlfriend, huh?” Cha Hee-Ra asked.

“Just because, and I wanted to talk to you…” I replied.

“About what?” she asked.

“Well, I don’t have anything specific to talk about, but it’s more like I can’t remember the last time we spent some time alone, and I think we can talk comfortably while riding the griffon. So…” I paused.

“…”

“…”

“Get on,” she said.

“…”

Naturally, I took note of her expression because the situation was that scary. I was worried about what Jung Ha-Yan would do after all this, but the top priority right now was to put out the fire that was threatening to inundate the skies.

The griffon carrying Jung Ha-Yan, the elf princess, and Jo Hye-Jin started flying, and the griffon we were riding on started flying as well. I smiled at the members of my fan club waving at me from below, but it didn’t take long for that smile to disappear.

‘Yeah, it’s about time that I took care of her.’

Honestly, Cha Hee-Ra wasn’t that important to someone like me since I was already pretty successful. However, Cha Hee-Ra was still the leader of Lindel’s best guild, the Red Mercenary Guild.

In addition, she was also holding an important position in Lindel. In other words, she was powerful. Yes, I had grown quite a bit, but she still wasn’t someone I could treat casually.

It didn’t fit me, but I did my best to flirt with her. If I did this to Jo Hye-Jin, I was sure that she would immediately push me off the griffon, but my unique habit had to have taken effect because Cha Hee-Ra kept flinching in response to my advances.

‘Man, I could work at a host bar with this skill. I’d be the best there!’

I had to be talented with this because I started getting into it. Was this how Diaochan felt when she played with Lu Bu and Dong Zhou? Was this how Yang Guifei and Cleopatra felt while they were playing the world like a fiddle? Cosplaying as a sexy man was nauseating, even for me, but her reactions were great, so I was having fun.

I was disgusted with myself, but the way I acted cute would definitely appeal to anyone, regardless of age and gender.

“Cheer up, noona,” I said.

“…”

“I had no choice. It was simply a gift, and Ha-Yan was in a really bad mood, so I gave it to her to cheer her up. You know how much I like you, noona,” I continued.

“I like your red lips, red hair, confidence, and everything about you. You’re not really angry, are you? I’m overreacting, right?” I asked.

‘Why isn’t she saying anything? Is she really angry?’

‘Is she really furious?’

I couldn’t see her expression since I was sitting behind her. She wasn’t really moving, so I couldn’t say for sure that my killer move wasn’t working on her. In the end, I had no choice but to reach into the Chanelia Hermes bag Hyun-Sung bought for me.

‘Is there a decent ring I can give her?’

I wasn’t ready, but acting like I was ready was important. I bought many items I could use to bribe Jung Ha-Yan in case she went on a rampage, and many of them were rings I was going to give her each time.

I got so anxious that I even stuck my head into the bag, and it was then that I stumbled upon a red ring that suited her red lips and hair.

I retrieved the ring and quietly held her arm. She still wasn’t looking at me, but it seemed that she didn’t mind physical contact between us because she extended her arm toward me.

This part was the most important part because I was sure that she wasn’t expecting me to give her a ring. Cha Hee-Ra had to have felt something cold on her left hand because I saw her flinch slightly. I pushed the ring all the way in.

She pulled her arm back slowly, and she looked at her hand in disbelief.

‘This is the final blow…!’

I hugged her like a little girl and confessed, “I love you, Cha Hee-Ra. I really love you.”

My confession was a half-truth, and something unexpected happened immediately afterward.

“Huh?”

Cha Hee-Ra suddenly made the griffon we were riding change directions. The group that left ahead of us didn’t notice the change in our heading, and our griffon was already flying toward the ground.

‘What’s going on?’

I got nervous that I did something wrong, but I couldn’t feel any hostility from her.

“N-Noona?” I called out.

I didn’t hear her answer, but I could hear her rough breaths.

‘Shit…’

If we were in a griffon race, then she would definitely win the trophy.

Meanwhile, our griffon flew close to the ground and entered a strange cave.

‘Where are we…’

We were probably inside an abandoned cave, and I wasn’t sure if Cha Hee-Ra knew where we were currently headed. Right now, all I could do was hold onto her tightly and endure the wind brushing against my face.

The griffon finally arrived at our unknown destination.

I opened my eyes and started looking around.

“Where are we?” I asked.

The path ahead was blocked, and it was so dark I couldn’t see anything.

“Light…”

I carefully circulated my holy power to illuminate the cave, and I saw that the surroundings really resembled a dungeon. In addition, there was also a beast looking at me with bloodshot eyes.

“I wasn’t planning on doing this, but… you seduced me,” Cha Hee-Ra said.

“What?”

“You seduced me, darling,” she repeated.

“Huuh?”

I immediately felt immense pressure, and it was so intense that it was comparable to the pressure that the Fragment of the Ancient God in the Rift Museum gave off.

Cha Hee-Ra walked over to me slowly.

For some reason, I recalled Jin Cheong’s remark.

“One day, what you have done will come back and get you.”

I hope that asshole wasn’t referring to this…
