The rose gold lightning destroyed all of the white arrows. Redok groaned but did not stagger. Cale said that it would not be fun if Redok was pushed out that easily. Cale clicked his tongue when he realized that Redok had used his dead mana for something else. Redok had not put any effort in stopping Cale’s attack, and had used his power elsewhere.
Redok smiled and flipped his gray hair back, saying that it was too late. Someone screamed in the air. It was the emperor who was squirming. The emperor’s eyes turned black, and he muttered, “A-Arise…” However, Sui struck him hard on the stomach, causing him to faint. Cale wondered on what Redok did since the emperor was already unconscious earlier, yet was woken up again.
The emperor’s body was also dyed black all the way up to the neck. Sui had a bad feeling and said that something was coming. The plaza fountain broke apart and out came a gigantic black snake covered with bones instead of scales. Its two huge fangs had dripping black liquid that melted anything it came into contact with.
One candidate said that this was the emperor’s power. Olivia asked the pope to evacuate the citizens first. She glanced at Zero and said that since the summoner was unconscious now, it would be hard to stop that monster. Redok said that he had some tidying up to do and the snake followed his will. The snake attempted to destroy everything in the plaza.
With its size that was over 20 meters, the plaza was turned into a mess. People escaped and ran in panic and confusion. Redok asked the Purifier why he was so relaxed when a lot of people could die. He asked if the Purifier trusted his colleagues that much. Heni might be strong, but it was not enough to defeat that monster.
Cale called his words as nonsense, and asked Raon to take the emperor to the imperial palace, and their allies there to do the plan themselves. Raon flew away and Cale said that only him would fight Redok. Cale fused his lightning and wind ancient powers as Mary created an equally huge black bone dragon in the background.
Cale smiled and said that the Mary and CH duo were extraordinarily strong. Those two had fought together a lot, so they understood each other’s strength. Raon agreed with Cale, and CH stood atop the bone dragon, saying that the snake was weak compared to the unranked monsters. The battle began on both sides. Cale’s priest clothes fluttered as he fought Redok.
Redok asked who he was, but Cale continued to ask why they messed with his hyung and his house. Super Rock tried to calm Cale down as he realized that the latter was seriously angry. Cale muttered that he did not understand. He would have lived a quiet life as a slacker if they had left him alone. So why were they making him unable to stay still?
He recalled the destroyed Roan palace, the burnt down Orsena residence, and the dead people. He could not stay still because of that. White and rose gold light continuously clashed and caused explosions. But the rose gold kept devouring the white light. Cale asked Redok if he knew about Roan. Redok asked if he was from there.
Redok’s attack pushed the two of them apart, and he asked the Purifier if he was the one who killed that person (WS). Redok swept back his hair again, and said that man’s name was Cale Henituse. Cale spoke in admiration that a high-ranking person like Redok knew his name. Redok said that he knew Cale’s name and understood most of Cale’s power.
He smiled and recalled Cale’s ancient powers. There was a documentation about Cale, but he had not immediately recognized Cale with just the lightning AP. But now, he knew so he thought that there was no problem. He judged Cale’s power and strength, becoming more relaxed. He thought that the limit of Cale’s power was the incident in the white sand desert.
Redok said that Cale was the one who saved a world, and Cale frowned. He continued that the value of Cale’s karma was not comparable to that of a world’s karma, but Cale must have already surpassed being a human. He added that the people gathered here were precious sacrifices, but now that his plans had changed, just sacrificing Cale was enough for his plans.
Redok used his power and the space around him shook. A white light appeared in his hand that was like lightning or a spear. His appearance was reminiscent of heroes in legends. But Cale laughed at the sight and asked if Redok seriously thought that this was just his power. Cale slowly released his rose gold lightning with the same momentum as the white light.
The Fire AP said that Cale had used half of his power, and laughed out madly, encouraging Cale to beat up his enemy lightly. Cale increased his power and called Redok stupid. Redok frowned in confusion, and Cale explained that they were incompatible. After all, the white light instantly turned into ashes the moment it touched the rose gold lightning.
Cale said that no matter how much dead mana Redok used, it would not work against him. He shook his head as if having a headache, and Fire AP softly said that Cale had used 60% of his power. The rose gold lightning struck the white light again.
