Redok remembered the info about Cale who had killed WS, and thought that the info was wrong. He wondered if he could even stop Cale. At that moment, the head of the snake fell. CH and Mary had successfully defeated the bone snake. CH looked around the plaza and saw the fleeing hunters and Huayans.
Zero approached the two and CH frowned at Zero’s blood-soaked appearance. Zero commented that the two were very strong as his eyes sparkled. CH ignored it and asked about the battle status. Zero smirked and reported that the church and Olivia had taken care of citizen evacuation. And some people, centered on Olivia, would be heading to the Imperial Palace.
As for Zero and the church members, they dealt with the hunters. Zero added that the hunters had all escaped to the Huayans mansion, seemingly wanting to fight there. He admitted that they could not deal with strong people like the Sword Master. CH asked if that man had escaped too, and Zero replied that yes, that man must have something to protect in the mansion.
Thus, Zero asked the two for help in fighting the strong people. The moment Redok had been caught by the Purifier, the hunters had fled. Zero guessed that since their leader had been caught, they retreated. But CH had his doubts. He said that hunters do not run away just because of that. They dedicate their karma first before running away to another dimension.
And Cale’s group was wary of that. Cale had even told the church members to stop the hunters from dedicating their karma. However, the hunters headed to the mansion, which meant that something was there, something that Appe was not aware of. He had a bad feeling about this, and told Mary that he would report it to Cale.
Mary said that she would head to the Huayans mansion, and the black dragon picked up Zero before soaring into the sky with Mary. Meanwhile, Cale had grabbed Redok’s gray hair as he reassured the latter that he would not kill him. Rather, he would save Redok. The other grimaced at those words, and Cale’s smile widened.
After all, Cale had a lot to ask Redok, so he could not kill the other yet. Like why did the hunters attack the Roan Kingdom, what happened to the king, why was the Orsena residence burned, and so on. Cale whispered gently that he would take Redok with him, just like Number Seven. Redok’s white light completely faded. Raon commented that Cale had that smile again.
Cale released his grip on Redok’s hair, and grasped Redok’s shoulders as electric current flowed from Cale. Redok groaned, and Raon said that Eruhaben had reported of their success in looting the catacombs. Everything had been teleported away. Redok screamed that he would never talk even if he got purified, that Cale would not deceive him.
Redok laughed and with a twisted smile added that the ritual had begun. Even if he died, this world would perish. Cale heard CH calling him, and CH reported that the hunters had escaped to the Huayans mansion. CH also told Cale of his suspicion, and Redok laughed again, saying to not look down on him and their obsession even if he was weaker than Cale.
He sneered, asking if Cale thought that the Black Tree was all they had. He shouted that to destroy this world, the entire land must be dyed black. Suddenly, a huge earthquake shook the capital. They all saw something black soaring from where the Huayans mansion was. It was a huge black mud-like mass that they could not exactly figure out what it was. But just the sight of it gave one an uncomfortable feeling.
It looked like a huge hill or mountain was being built as it continued to soar up, even extending to the Imperial Palace. Cale asked in a low voice if there was anything else the hunters prepared besides that black thing they were seeing now. Redok was excited to see Cale’s panicked face, and snickered, saying that all over the world, those things would be moving soon.
Redok had realized that it was Cale who had raided his mansion, so he was curious to see Cale’s upset reaction at the present situation. He blamed Cale that their plan would not have been advanced this far if it were not for Cale’s intervention. The Black Tree was actually just a trial, and now, black things of various shapes, like that huge hill that appeared, would move soon.
Redok exclaimed that because of Cale, this world would be destroyed. Even if Cale had enough purification power to create the white sand desert, he could not stop them. He mockingly laughed at Cale, continuing not to look down on the 300 years of preparation they had. And asked Cale what he had prepared then.
No matter how powerful Cale was, he would not be able to stop those black things spread all over the world that would move within an hour. He madly laughed, but soon screamed when Cale struck him with his Fire AP. Cale spoke that he was seriously noisy, and calmly asked CH to knock Redok out. CH asked Cale if he was going.
The Fire AP said that those black things were unusual, and Super Rock added that they did not have much time. The Fire AP said that it was not hard to remove those black things since they were invincible here. He crazily laughed, shouting that he would be able to burn the entire continent this time. Cale looked at Raon and informed that he would be going.
Raon sighed and said that it had been a while since Cale had fainted or coughed blood. Cale frowned and replied that he would not faint or cough blood this time. He had a plan to produce the best results with minimal effort. But Cale was taken aback when Raon kept smiling as if in disbelief, asking if Cale’s words were true.
It was the first time Cale was that surprised since he came to this world. CH spoke with a sigh, commenting that Raon was starting to resemble Cale more and more. He was still tying up the unconscious Redok. Cale was still in shock at Raon’s attitude, but eventually came to his senses and quickly proceeded to the Huayans mansion.
