Terms used in this chapter:
Noble Warrior – Also called as Chivalrous Hero or Knight Errant. This is a trope in murim novels referring to vagrant martial artists who protect the innocent and use their strength to correct injustices.
Lightness Skill – Also called as Qinggong. It is the ability to lighten the body and move with great agility and swiftness. At high proficiency, practitioners of this skill can run across water, leap to the top of trees, or even glide through the air.

Ron was puzzled about the word Gale as he was not present at that time. Raon tried to explain about the emperor, but Cale quickly covered Raon’s mouth and urged Sui to create names for them. Ron frowned, and Cale frowned too when he saw Sui’s strangely excited expression. Sui slowly picked up the teacup and said that he thought of several names.
Cale was feeling uneasy, but decided to listen. Sui began with the name changes:
Choi Han -> Choi Han
Toonka -> Du Kang
Ron Molan -> Mo Ahn Ohn
Beacrox Molan -> Mo Ahn Biroh
Raon Miru -> Raon Miru
Sui Khan -> Lee Soo Hyuk
Beacrox stared at CH who agreed with his name. Cale thought that Du Kang suited Toonka as it sounded like the name of a bandit boss. Toonka himself liked it as it sounded strong. Du was the surname and Kang was the first name. For the Molans, their surname became Mo Ahn. Sui said that he wanted to keep their names close to the original.
Raon Miru exclaimed that his name was already great, so he liked it. And as for Cale, Sui said, “For Cale, Kim-” Cale thought he was going to say Kim Rok Soo, but Sui continued, “Kim Gae-il.” (Or the Gale the emperor used) Cale instantly frowned and Raon shouted that he hated that name for some reason. Sui burst out laughing and said to the still-frowning Cale that it was just a joke.
He asked if Kim Hae-il was fine. Cale understood why as it was a combination of Kim Rok Soo and Cale Henituse. Raon said that it was good as Hae-il sounded better than Gae-il. Cale nodded, but in reality, he did not care as it was just an alias. But Sui said that the name would go well with the item Cale brought.
Cale recalled the Cloak of the Sun that he got as a reward from Xiaolen. He had no intention of using that item yet as it could be quite embarrassing when used incorrectly. He had also borrowed the other reward items from his companions, like Eruhaben’s item. He was planning to use those items since he was weak here.
The usually noisy ancient powers were quiet here. It was the effect of being sealed. But he could still use Super Rock’s power. Cale asked Raon if he had checked the map, and Raon proudly stated that he had memorized everything. Cale patted him on the head. He had used his Record ability to ‘record’ all the maps and books here.
His Record and Instant abilities were not sealed. Ron asked if they were going to move stealthily, and Cale replied that he was planning for them to teleport to a forest with few people. Since magic did not exist here, they would go undetected. Raon added that he would make them invisible too.
But Raon tugged Cale’s long sleeve, and with a rare timid appearance, took out a wooden board from his subspace pocket. On the wooden board was a picture of an Eastern dragon. Raon weakly uttered that Jungwon said that the dragons here looked like this. So he asked his human if he should look like that too.
Cale refused since he was going to be invisible anyway. And whether Raon was an Eastern dragon or a fantasy dragon, his chubby belly would still be the same. So Cale told Raon to just do whatever he wanted. At that moment, Raon slammed his front paws on the table, startling Cale. The table was not broken though.
Raon repeatedly struck the table with his paws in excitement. His wings also flapped continuously. He exclaimed that he liked it as he was great as it is. Cale wanted to refute Raon’s words of being great, but endured it. Raon was getting stronger every day, so Cale found him to be a vicious dragon. He wondered how strong Raon would be when he grew up.
Cale thought that with one hit of Raon’s tail, he might be sent flying to the underworld. As he got the chills from that scary thought, he averted his gaze from Raon. He met eyes with Sui who grinned and asked, “Shall we depart as soon as we are ready, Young Master Kim?” Cale answered with a weak laugh, “We shall. Noble Warrior Lee.”
(Cale and Sui are speaking in a very polite manner here, like how people in Korea spoke to royalty or nobles in ancient times. The ‘young master’ here is how young noblemen in Korea are addressed. ‘Noble Warrior’ is how Cale is playing along with Sui’s roleplay.)

The Anhui Province had a famous mountain called Mount Huang. A rugged mountain with beautiful scenery, people flocked to this place to train or do business. At a forest a little far from that mountain, Cale’s group arrived via teleport. Chief Eunuch Wi grabbed his chest as he was slightly dizzy, so CH supported him.
Wi thanked “Noble Warrior Choi”, the swordsman who introduced himself as Choi Han. After he stood up, he heard someone expressing their admiration. It was Fist King Mok Hyeon who was admiring Raon for his teleportation magic. With a proud pose, Raon shouted that he was great, and Mok Hyeon could only smile.
Raon worriedly asked if his granddaughter was okay though. Because his great granddaughter, Mok Hee, was with them too. She looked tense and shocked at the current situation. Mok Hyeon had given the condition that he would go with Cale if they included Mok Hee too. Mok Hee of the Embroidered Uniform Guard was shocked that they had instantly teleported from the Moon Flower Palace to this forest near Mount Huang.
Mok Hyeon looked at her in silence. After losing her parents at an early age, she grew up with him in the imperial palace. He wanted her to know about the world since she did not have any proper friends and only focused on martial arts training. For Mok Hee, her world was the imperial palace, and as one of the top members of the Embroidered Uniform Guard, she could not easily come out of the palace.
Mok Hyeon thought that this was his fault, so he wanted to use this mission as an excuse to let Mok Hee know about the world, and for her to realize many things. If she met strong people her age, it would be a great experience. She would grow up from watching Kim Hae-il, Choi Han, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Mo Ahn Biroh who were of a similar age to her.
Of course, Mok Hyeon would make it sure that it would be under a safe situation. He was strong enough to create that situation. And the people here were strong too. He asked her if she was okay, and she replied yes. Her complexion had improved, but she was still tense. Meanwhile, Cale and Wi were having a conversation.
Cale called Chief Eunuch Wi as “Noble Warrior Wi” and Wi called Cale as “Young Master Kim.” They had decided to call each other by their aliases, so as not to make a mistake even if no one else was present. Wi said that there was a village near Mount Huang that welcomed travelers. There were a lot of tourists who came to the mountain.
Taoists or murim people stayed in the mountain for several years to practice their martial arts and swordsmanship. That was why a small village formed near it. Wi said that they could spend the night in an inn there. As a member of the Eastern Bureau, Wi was knowledgeable about geography because he had a lot of outside missions.
Wi added that there was a person belonging to the Eastern Bureau there, so they could get information there. There was at least one imperial informant hiding in relevant places in the murim world. Cale realized that the emperor had done a good job. Raon used his magic to help the group speed up. Wi was surprised at how the magic affected his speed as he did not even need to use the Lightness Skill.
Raon whispered to Cale via telepathy that he had brought enough highest-grade magic stones to last for a year. So he could use a lot of magic. Cale could actually use his Wind AP here because it was not that sealed, but he was being cautious. He could not recklessly used his sealed ancient powers here until he really needed it.
He did not want to faint or cough blood in this world. There were a lot of people here who kidnapped and experimented on people. In murim novels, there were people who used bizarre evil sorcery. Cale brushed off his unpleasant thoughts and continued running. But CH called out to him then. LSH said that it would be better to just continue.
Cale was confused what those two were talking about, so Wi explained that he could hear the sound of fighting nearby. Cale realized that he had encountered a famous murim cliché. Usually, those who were fighting were people with essential information or key positions.
Cale slowed down and spoke to Wi, “Let us check in caution. Perchance someone innocent is in danger. How can I pass by and turn a blind eye?” Wi was surprised at Cale’s way of speaking, but replied “Shall we?” with a bright expression.
And at that words, LSH nodded and remarked, “As expected of our Young Master Kim Hae-il.” Cale ignored the team leader’s words for the first time in a long time.
