He recalled what happened earlier.
When their preparations were complete, Wi approached Young Master Kim who stood up and raised his hand. Once a person reached the Nature Realm, they could use the power of nature. That Profound Realm master had said that he could use the power of nature a little, and gave Un Seon and her master a demonstration before leaving.

Nobody in the group said anything, so Cale thought that it was fine. There were many inns in the small village under Mount Huang, and most of the inns were fully booked. An inn employee greeted Cale when their group entered the inn. He looked troubled since their inn was almost full, yet Cale’s group was large.
Chief Eunuch Wi walked towards the inn employee and said that the guesthouse in the back garden was empty. The inn employee said that there were already guests booked there. He looked frightened as he saw Cale’s group, especially Toonka. He had been nervous ever since martial art practitioners had began staying in the inn a few days ago.
And now, most of Cale’s group were scary looking martial artists. But when another inn employee came, the expression of the first inn employee brightened. The second inn employee called Wi as ‘uncle,’ pretending to know him, and Wi said that their group was the guest booked for that guesthouse. The first inn employee was relieved to hear that. Wi played along and called the second inn employee as his nephew, and the inn employees led them to the guesthouse.
The guesthouse was a 2-storey building, so there was a lot of space. Wi informed Cale via Chi Hidden Voice that the second inn employee was actually a member of the Eastern Bureau, an imperial informant. Some flashback. On the way to the inn, Elder Ho gave Cale more detailed information about the Sword Demon.

The door to the inn opened again, so the first inn employee ran to greet the new guests.
There were 3 people in total, 2 young ones and a short old man in the middle. They looked a little untidy, perhaps because they had come in a hurry. Cale stopped when he saw the vicious eyes of the old man. Elder Ho groaned in disbelief, and Cale had a bad feeling. Pokedex Wi immediately told Cale via Chi Hidden Voice that the old man was the Sword Saint. And the confused Cale asked why that old man was there now. 1
